Default Some pics from my swap.

i though i'd share some pics of my swap in progress...

Here is my engine bay after 4 hours of pressure washing and a big bottle of simple green. i wish i took a pic of the before but it was caked with nasty black crap due to a leaky power steering and over 250k on the road. you couldn't see any silver...it was all black. this is as clean as i could get it.

Im waiting for my turbo to come in and a couple oil lines before i can fire her up but it feels good to be close. i have been collecting parts for this swap for about 1.5 years and if its one thing i learned is to go with a us spec motor if possible. pay the extra money. the money i saved from going jdm was just dumped back in getting the correct parts like the oil pan and various other parts since im using a us spec harness. let me know what you guys think.

I like it that you took the time to clean everything up before dropping your new motor in. Looks like your already to go single. Thats some patients 1.5 years collecting parts.
Excellent start, Good luck with the completion.

Looking very good. What kind of turbo are you planning to use? Stockers?

Im going to be running a TS04 with a small exhaust ar. turbo is suppose to be good up to 550ish which i figure would be perfect for my stock 550 injectors and its suppose to spool pretty close if not better than the stock twin in ttc mode. my goals as of now is to have decent hp with good spool and good power under the curve.
