engine cuts off?
Hey i was read the other to post about there casr stalling out . But i have a 5mt almost everytime i start the car the rpms go up to about 1 to 2000 rpms and then slowly go down and down until the car stalls or the engine cuts off. If i gas the car for like a min or so before the car stalls then the car will run fine.
At 1st i thought it could just be a old bad pcv but i juist changed that and engine still cuts off. So could it be a vac leak?
I know the timing belt needs to be change so could this have anything to do with the stalling to?
Any info would be great.

A vaccum leak would likely be a big problem for the entire drive, so I don't think its that.
I would suspect the idle air control.
The timing belt couldn't cause something like that, if there are troubles with the cam timing at all the car runs like crap 24/7. Its definetly a good idea to get that changed out and don't forget to have the front main seals and timing belt tensoner replaced at the same time. Better to do it while you're in there than wait for them to become a problem later.
