Default Slight ticking...

Ok so I just did my timing belt on this car... Major pain in the *** but I did it.

I got some instructions and I followed them to the T, when I uncovered the camgears when the crank pulley was on the dot the exhaust side marc was one notch to my right if me facing the engine, or one notch to the left if im sitting on the car. The intake side had it 2 notches to the right if facing the engine and 2 notches to the left inside the car.... I followed the book and i aligned all the marcs.. so theyre all incheck rotated twice made sure all it was in order... So now all marcs are flush.

I install everything... long story short there is this slight ticking, but no vibration car idles smoothy, and I dont have any stuttering at all and it even revs perfectly fine. Car even runs better then ever! its just that noise that ticking slight noise what could it be? It cant be out of time, there be vibration, shaking and misfire if it was out of time no?

valve shims are not fitting perfectly, just imagine some thing hitting them 2000 times per minute for xxx 000 kms, they are just old, search and you will find more info
