Exhaust, brakes, and car oh my
Aight, that title was kinda gay but wutever
I have three questions:
1) Is it better to convert to a single exhuast? why or why not? i was told the dual exhaust set-up was more for show than go.
2) I'm almost positive that the SC300 came with ABS brakes...somebody confirm me on this, when i do a brake swap, will i still be able to keep the ABS system?
3. I came across a rare beuaty that i'm going to check out next weekend when i'm not tied up... Its a '95 black, 5-speed, SC300 with about 87 miles on it. Its running at around $8,950 (i don't remeber if he said the price was negotiable) (good deal?) i think it is

with only 87 miles that a great deal. but i think you meant 87k. lol. just be sure to check the car over good. look for cracked interior pieces, valve coler leaks, burned out needles, ect. all the little common problems. as for the exhaust, its an inline6, single is great for performance, but dual looks better since its a luxury car. and the ABS will be fine with a break upgrade.

Check the vehicle for it's service records as well. A vehicle with 87K miles is almost due for the timing belt/water pump job. If you like it, buy it dude
As for the single exhaust setup, I would only do it to a 300 and cover up the right exhaust outlet on the rear bumper.
I have dual exhaust on my 400 and ki is right, much classier looking.

yeah, they'll function even though they dont light. Cracked interior would be composed of the middle vents and the door trim by the window and other places, you could probably find out by doing a search.

1) Single -> Good for performance
Dual -> Fo Sho or performance depending on how you have the piping done
2) Im pretty sure Lexus put ABS on our boats. The ABS stuff should be located at the top left corner when you pop up your hood
3) Only 87 miles? or 87k?? Well whatever it may be, you are getting in on a very good deal. For that price its almost a steal. If it has a black interior I'll just pee my pants. If you can work down the price you are king.

haha, you wont need to touch the motor except for a head gasket to get at least 600hp with a turbo, with a stand alone computer that is, and excelent tuning. just buy a kit, and go from there... either turbonetics or bostlogic. that would be my choice.
