Anyone have their ECU De-governed? Top Speed?
Pretty tired of the doing 140+, having an adrendeline blast, when I hit 152 (tire ratio 1.1:1) the fun is capped by the Lex ECU Governor. I thought the SRT Race ECU would have removed the limiter, but it doesn't. My last-gen SC400 just "hummss" at 152/ 4000RPM. Would lilke to hear it "give it all" and scream towards 170 if possible.
What is the top speed with the govenor removed? Could it really be low-end 60's as the speedometer indicates (most lie btw)?
Can I integrate my SRT race ECU into a de-governed ECU? Both are recalibrated, so not sure if it would be smart to combine.. Reliabilty might take a hit..
Anyone running above 160? 170 in a 1UZFE (VVT)?

Stock I used to be able to max out at 142. Was a little disturbed that I could even reach the govenor..lol... Drove the car home from the dealer (6 hr) drive and noticed that the engine slightly hesitated at 120, before resuming its climb.
Soon after that got 19x 9.0 Chrome Giovanni Rims (heavy)..then noticed that the engine hesitated at around 110, before resuming its climb. After serveral mods and a brake upgrade to offset the rim weight for hard braking, the needle smoothly runs from 0-140 ish before you notice anything. Will hit 152 strong.; very encouraging.
Was grinning yesterday when I had it in PWR 5 after it shifted at 135. The joy of hearing the torque converter working after most cars cannot reach past 120.
Of course the joy ended at 152....as always..

You Texans are damn lucky.
I've gone over 100 three times since I bought the car. That would be: first time, second time, last time(EVER!)
The last one landed me a ticket that I'm still battling almost a year later.

140+ ?
those must of been some loooooooooong clear freeways with the wind pushing you from the back. your feet must of been on the gas for like 10 minutes.
most i went was like 133 when i ran out of rpm's ( maybe a had a mm or 2 left, but don't think it would have made much more of a difference other than 1/2 a mile)
didn't toyota/lexus quote our top mile as 135 or somewhere around there? and dealers always overquote everything a little.

On original tires (no other mods), I was able to hit 147 before eating fuel cut. ('96 SC300)
I recommend you never try this, because I didn't quite expect what happened, and almost lost control of my car.
