Well its time for my FMIC purchase and i have some questions.

I have a sc300 that will be sporting a sp74 on a custom manifold made by Bill at Sound Performance. Intake side will be a daveH with a 90mm throttle body. That combo rules out the possibility of using a fmic "kit" made for the sc300. So i have been pricing out just fmic's.

Do the intercoolers on ebay for $2-300 worth a crap? So many different brands, i know some are junk but are all of them? Anyone running one?

What would you guys suggest dimension wise for 7-800rwhp range?

contact "dave turbo henry" on aim, he can get you the intercoolers at a great price.

 

i've seen the big 4in ic's on ebay put down 600-700 hp so they do work and for the price it isn't too bad. i've been thinking about getting one since they are so cheap but people keep telling me about pressure drop on those's ic's but for a couple hundred dollars i can deal with a slight pressure drop. spearco, pwr, and corky bell ic cores are good and are fairly priced. you can also look into supra mkiv ic kits which should line up pretty close with your set up.
