power steering reservoir
My 92 SC400 is leaking ps fluid from the bottom of the reservoir. I searched and it seems that you can replace the o-ring at the bottom of the tank. The dealership said that there may be an o-ring but they can only sell me the whole reservior for $230. Has anyone actually done this and where did you purchase the o-ring. Thanks

If it does in fact turn out to be an o-ring, they can be had at most auto parts stores - just bring in the original off the pump and ask for a replacement - just be sure to specify that it needs to be designed for use with hydraulic fluid as regular butyl rubber o-rings will swell up and deform.

My bad for taking so long to get back at you guys on this. I don't have the part number but call #800.908.6968 and ask for Gordon is possible. He can do whatever you need
or if you prefer do a quick "search" for Carson Toyota and use that info, it all goes to the same guys. Good luck homies!
