talk to VSsc400, he's got enough mods and tuning on his car for about 210 ponies to the ground. im sure he can give you some pointers for raw power out of that v8.

Start with BFI, full exhaust plus extractors, then whack on a supercharger Then leave it as is.

Do you have an SAFC-II? I've heard of alot of SC300/GS400 guys gaining a few horses from one

I think Mr Tan was referring to the original poster about getting 80 hp out of just ecu and exhaust which I agree can't be done unless he goes nitrous or some other form of FI.

I have the bluescreen S-AFC the SAFC-II gives you more RPM points and also knock sensor etc etc but I think the HP gains would not be so much greater since the S-AFC curves the fuel map accordingly.

VERYLOST: thank you for the explanation

don't be confused by "hp gains",... as for in most cases they are talkin' about peak hp, which is a redline. With the SAFC, you may only gain 8hp at peak power, but may gain 20 - 25 hp in your driving rpm's,... which is more useful than the 8hp that signifiies when it's time to shift gears.

I gained 8-12rwhp all across the board... 12rwhp was the highest gain at any given point.

from the dynanometer readings shown this also appears to be the case the the OP.

I have seen Vssc400's dyno chart and he did have gains throughout the entire curve and not just peak hp. What was most impressive was his torque gains.

And remember, dennis has also had exhaust work so it isn't just the safc alone.
