Tapping noise
Hi guys.
My 3uzfe having some weird tapping noise from cylinder 8(?).. I'm in the uk , so the driver side last cylinder.
Possible for need a valve clearance settings?
This job is when you replacing the shims?

Was this present for the whole time you own this car, or it just started?
It's a little hard to tell, it doesn't sound too out of the ordinary, at least as far as I can tell, could be a shim adjustment issue, but it is unlikely, especially if it doesn't change much as the engine warms up. Try getting a stethoscope to localize the sound a bit better.
