I'm willing to make the trip to this meet if two or more others convoy with me from the Bay Area. Glen I got the V1 so 100mph shouldn't be a problem .

A few suggestions though: Please rename this meet a "Lexus Meet". If it is referred to as a "V8 meet" in smaller circles, many very nice people with very nice cars will feel uncomfortable showing up. The purpose of a meet is to "meet" new people with common interests, not just V8 owners. The more people the funner it will be for everyone.

Also, please change the date of this meet so it does not coincide with a holiday weekend, and so that we all don't get SARS from GS400kid . No, but seriously, planning this on Father's Day is poor organization. Since everyone has a father, it's not good for turnout to make people choose between their father's and a car meet.

Question for moderators: is Ethan planning another major Socal (Carson) meet for the summer, or is this going to be it for this year?

LOL David you molester!
GS400kid: Your gf is welcome. I was just trying to make a point that I prefer non-jailbaits. She won't be getting any attention from me...so don't worry.

LOL. Yeah...you might get it from her if you bring her and she's not really into cars. Guess it all depends on who wears the pants in the relationship.

A major So.Cal meet will be in the works. But it will be held in Irvine. For the L.A and Diego guys. I am very sorry for the guys up North. Since they are the furthest away.

Sounds good Celsior Master! I talked to Ethan earlier this week and I guess he said there are no plans this year for a major CL-sponsored event like Carson 2002, but I stand by my proposition: two or more Lexuses from Norhtern California and I will make the trip down with them . I know there'll be a dozen members that volunteer to come, but in the end maybe only three of them follow through...

Yes, there will be no CL-sponsor event this year. This will be a much a like a private meet in which everybody brings their own little piece to the meet. Most likely a BBQ like the one we held in Irivine last summer. Time frame maybe late June to early August.

Yeah last year you save us atleast one ticket. I'm shooting for over 135mph this time, need to verify the top speed of a RMM geared car.

Your right Rich and some of us CL members are Father's as well, so I won't make the meet if the date can't be adjusted.
