I will try and rep the Corps for you at the meet. You just keep holding things down out there. Btw, holla at a me if you need anything...as it stands right now, I won't deploy until later.

March 29th, Saturday
CHOICE ONE:
11:30am meet at the big open parking lot across Mission Valley Hooters (more detail later)
12:00pm fill up your tummies and bad thoughts at Hooters
1:30 -2:00pm hang out with everybody around the cars
2:00 - 3:00 pm road trip
8 (east)
67 (north) - freeway to expressway (most of the trip)
Scripps Poway Parkway (west) - local street
Everyone will stop at Vons shopping center right before Freeway 15 (refill up you tummies, gas)
Meet will end around 3:30
CHOICE TWO:
Do the road trip early in the morning first.
Reverse the road course so that we will stop at Hooters for lunch
CHOICE THREE: (better choice for the summertime!)
Do the coastal scene for the road trip
- PCH1
- North Torry Pine Road
- Prospect (La Jolla)
- La Jolla Blvd.
- Mission Blvd.
- West Mission Bay Drive
- Somewhere in Mission bay
Here is my thought:
CHOICE THREE is a more complicated route. It will be more of a street cruize instead of a road trip. We will definitely see more traffic. I think we need more planning on this route. Nevertheless, this is a must route for our summer trip. Can you imagine..... Del Mar, La Jolla, Mission Bay......all the beach goers and nice fine Southern California
I think I will stop for now.CHOICE ONE seems might fit better with most of your schedule. The time frame is not set in stone. We can always push the time back a little. The only concern would be if there are a lot of us, Hooters may get crowded during the lunch time.
INFO that I still need help on.....
Has anyone taken the 67 from 8 to Scripps Poway Parkway? I need to know the road condition. If there are too many pot holes, then I will scratch the road trip idea.
If I cannot get any response, maybe I will take the trip myself first to check out the scene. (Anyone care to join me for the virgin run?) March 15th around 9:00am?
