Its too bad there weren't more CL Paid Members there either. A $300+ 5-speed short-shifter prize went unclaimed by default just because no manual Lexus owners there were paid members. If you attended the meet, were a paid member, and had a 5-speed SC300 or IS300, you would have just won a $300+ prize for merely showing up!!

Great prices, I just want to say thanks to the one that left early, or I wouldn't have won!

I guess I should buy a computer so I can use my price

As you may know the operational costs of such a widely accessed website is pretty high. So in order to combat some of these costs as well as fund dyno events, raffle prizes, etc, ClubLexus gives members the option of becoming a Club Lexus Paid Member. I believe the current annual fee is a mere $30. There are several benefits to becoming a Paid Member such as group buy discounts, dealership discounts, raffle prizes, custom titles, free email, free webspace, some others I can't remember off the top of my head, and many other incentives SOON to be implimented as soon as this new site format is worked out. For me, I became a paid member not because of the free stuff but because as a Lexus owner, I recognize and appreciate the vast amounts of knowledge I gained from this site being here for us all. I paid a triffle $50, but probably saved a couple thousand dollars through various hook ups, tips, and DIY. I also gained a well of knowledge that I could not otherwise learn in any class, book, or TV special. So in a nutshell that's what a Paid Member is and that's why I am one. There aren't as many as there should be really, but oh well... what can you do?

The good news is we did get a couple of new paid members at the meet including a newbie Ajayssc40093. Too bad he didn't stay, his ticket was pulled in the paid member drawing! He was the only other paid member SC400 at the meet.

yeah, or if you think it the "bad" way, you paid 30 bucks that day and got a 300 bucks shifter, a nice 90% off.....

Hehe, I was eyeing those foglights at first, but then you snatched them up... Valve stem caps are the caps you put on your tire valve stems. As opposed to those cheap black plastic ones that come with them. I think they look sick on my car, but then there's always the fear of some lame *** stealing them from me in a parking lot .

PAPA - I didn't know if I was going for sure until the morning of the meet. I got back from LA at about 11:00 p.m., got a few hours of sleep and was on the road at 3:00 a.m.. I really didn't think that anyone besides me would be up for such a trip on short notice. [/B][/QUOTE]

Big Mac,
Its all good homes, I had some family things to attend to anyway. I was just rattling your cage.

It looks great seeing so many GS in one place like that. We had a picnic up there with some friends so we had to take the Odyssey to pack in all the gears for the boys and the food so we couldn't take our GS.

I took one of my boys around to look at the GS, he thought we were at a dealership and wanted to sit in the cars! All look great, although I didn't see anyone with a Blue Onyx. I like the one with the rear wheel exposed showing the brakes mod. I'd have like to see what the Tein flex looks like too but may be next time.

Those dorks! I didn't win _anything_ and those nitwits didn't even stay around for the drawing.

GOsh dang it!! Look at this....7 pages of the absolute worst torture ever! I wanted to go to this damn meet so bad!! I had to help a friend move, and we were supposed to be done by 2, but noone else showed up and I had to help lnger than expected. I ended up at the park at around 6:25, with intense hopes that there would at least be some stragglers still there talking. Not a single Lexus in sight. Not 1. These pictures just further acknowledge that I missed a bomb *** meeting. my car was all cleaned up, everything was fully functional. Damn it all. Let's have another one this weekend!!! I tried. What can I say.
