Here is the plan:

1st RP - MERVYNS on AUTO PKWY, ESCONDIDO @ 8:30. The convoy will depart at ~8:45 and proceed up I-15 N, stopping to pick up yours truly at the McDonald's on Clinton Kieth Rd., Murrietta. The convoy will continue up I-15 to the 2ND RP, TRUCK STOP on MAGNOLIA in CORONA, ETA 9:45. We will then take 91 W, to the 3RD and FINAL RP (not yet determined, but in the vicinity of the 91/710 interchange). From there, we will continue to our destination

You first missed the SD meet, now you are going to the huge Carson meet without your ride........Don't tell me that you are going to drive the Bimmer.........that would be an one funny picture to see.....all the Lexus rolling then a Bimmer tagging behind.......lol

Roger - I just knew you would be the one to give me crap when I posted "w/o car" . This time I'm not quite bailing out like I did with the SD meet...like the others have said, my car is already in Carson...I won't be able to drive up, but I will be able to drive it back...with new brakes and sways

Here are the directions to the 2nd RP:

15 north side...

It is the last exit before the 15 meets the 91 freeway...

if coming from s.d.

the 3 exits before magonlia would be first calajo, 2nd el cerrito rd
3rd would be ontario then magnolia...

Once you get off magnolia you make a right and then the first driveway on the right you can pull into is Downs Oil, that where the truck gas station is... It is a real easy off and on spot to meet.

I am still working on the "hall pass". I kind of feel bad to leave the kid with my wife on Saturday when she already spend 5 week days with her....... However, at the same time I hate to just let you guys have all the fun.....

Anyway, my decision will be the last mintues thingy. Regardless if I go or not, I do have a little suggestion based on what we have learned from the SD meet. Since there are many stop points on the way to Carson, may be it will be helpful for everyone who is rolling together to have a copy of the direction to every stop point. People tend to get lost especially when you have a big group. Just ask Papa.....heheee, we managed to lost quite a few cars for only a couple of miles on HWY 8. They had to be "rescued" by the local people.......

I know it will be a bit of work. However, if one of you gentleman can just print out a stack of directions and hand them out to people at each RP, people at least can just meet you guys at the next RP if they get lost in the traffic.

Papa, can you please PM me your cell phone number so that just in case I decide to roll with you guys, I can at least get hold of you that Saturday morning......

By the way, what time do you guys plan to drive back from Carson? I am pretty sure that is the first thing that my wife wants to know......

why not bring the wife and kid along. its gonna be a lonely drive to drive 2-3 hours alone. BRING HER ALONG. maybe she will see something she likes and tell you to buy it for your car. like new rims or sumitn

Thanks for the advice. Taking the wife to the Carson meet is definitely a "no, no". It will have an opposite effect as to what you have pointed out...... The less she knows about the car the better it is for me.......trust me

I am on the stealth mode most of the time. Nevertheless, whenever she discover the new mods on the car, all hell break lose in my family. My woman cannot understand why man (me) spend so much money on a car when it already has everything in the stock form.

This is why I don't post my mods anymore.

i knoe EXACTLY how you feel man. i can't tell you how identical our ladies are alike. for example my sound system. everything i had bought for it i eighter bought online or picked up myself. i was even tooo scared to install it in my own driveway took it to a friends house. i didn't see my girl for 1 whole week cause of this. i ripped out all my interiour. only left the driver seat. no carpet, no backseat, no nothing. ran all new speaker cables and all you could think of. when she saw my car after it was done she didn't really notice anything. LOL cause i always kept my music down when i was with her. LOL. then i forgot and left it bumpin one time to go pick her up and she was like WTF. she told me to pop the trunk. she was like WTF!!!!! she got ALL mad. i had to explain to her that my brother's friend "gave" it to me for my b-day present. (in1 week). so i got away with that. she thinks its only worth like 200 bucks or somehting. glad she doesn't know how much it REALLY costs's LOL.

my next mod is to get an exhaust on my car and i finally thought up of a good enough excuse to get one. i'm gonna puncture a whole in each of my exhaust so its really loud and tell her i need a new exhaust and i'm gonna go out and get a good aftermarket one. LOL.

LOL. can't take my ladie to this car show she would kill me if i told her i'm taking the day off work to go to a car show. LOL. i even told her i'm working late. i usually get out at 1. but gonna tell her i'm working till ike 5. LOL

I will print off the copies of the directions to the 2nd RP seeing as those are the only ones I have. That way we all can get to the 2nd RP within minutes of each other should we get seperated.

Kaju: I will be leaving the meet probaly within an hour after it is over at 3 or there abouts. I think Gunner will be rollin about the same time so we might be able to convoy back to SD. Also, I have hooked you up with the cell # so check your box.

Gunner: Which way do I turn coming off the Clinton Keith Exit to pick you up at the Mickey D's?

Clinton Keith is the second exit after the 15/215 split...take a right after you exit and Mickey D's will be on your right (less than a mile off the fwy).

The 2nd RP will be our last stop, LXOGOOD and Cong28 have to be there early, so they will not be joining the convoy. We will make sure everyone is clear on the directions to Carson Toyota before we depart the 2nd RP, just in case we somehow get separated...we will also make sure the lead vehicle trail vehicle drivers have cells.

Since we are not stopping to pick up the last 2 members, we are taking the 110 instead of the 710.
