Now car is stuck in the garage and the tires are at the shop

while you guys are on the topic of snow, is anyone selling a set of snow/winter tires?

I'm actually glad he's starting. I think he gives us a better chance to win just as long as he doesn't turn the ball over.

 

Ha....you know he's going to have at least a few turnovers....a couple pics and a fumble. Saints will be pass rushing him all day...and he's so f ing slow that there will be out of control passes that will result in turnovers. At least Charlie for the most part got out of the pocket and threw the ball away or scramble for some yards. Charlie did seem a bit nervous at times but didn't make dumb mistakes (this past weekend) like Hasselbeck has the second half the season.

 

Maybe I'm an optimist, but I remember how he did against the Saints at the beginning of the year. He moved the ball pretty well against them. They lost because they couldn't get it in the endzone and the defense was getting ran over and thrown on all day.

I don't think Charlie is ready. Yeah, he scrambled a little bit, but all of his passes were less than 5 yards and the one pass to Martin, he underthrew.

 

I have to agree with you on this one. Screens and play actions were the only reason why Whitehurst was good. He needs to learn to slide, instead of trying to stick his head out for a tackle.

I dont believe Whitehurst is ready for the Saints defense. They have a good passing defense. He is nervous, so he will scramble and might end up throwing it away more than he wants, or throw an interception faster than he can so, NOOO!!

I would like to see the Seahawks go to the Superbowl. I believe Hasselback might be the one that carries this team to triumph, if it all goes well. Lets hope for another 30* degree weather

At least Charlie knows how to scramble. Are you guys forgetting how terrible Hasselbacks decisions were made throughout this season????? At least the side passes and screens worked....and look we won against a pretty good Rams pass d. Rams passing d is underrated and Charlie did fine under pressure given that it's a must win situation. Yeah, Hasselback did good against the saints earlier in the season...but how long ago was that? lol Now look what he has done after that game. lol Terrible decisions....terrible passes....doesn't scramble or move out of the pocket. Well, damn remember when he slightly moved out of the pocket for that TD...he hurt his hip without getting touch. lol Sign of old age man....he's been solid years past but he should hang up his cleats after this season.

I see why Pete Carrol wants to start him...based on experienced, and I hope Matt can step it up and make better decisions. We shall see. Go Hawks!
