I have a '93 SC300 5 spd. (owned since '94) and will need a clutch soon (if I put pedal to the floor in 5th the clutch slips). I'll be getting brakes too as I've got 125K on my baby and have the original set on the car. I guess I drive like a grandma most of the time .

I'd like to find a competent Bay Area shop and save a couple of hundred off what my regular shop charges (they quoted $1350 for clutch and brakes). Maybe that's a good deal and I don't know it, feel free to straighten me out.

Since I'm asking for help I'm also looking for a shop to replace the seat leather front and back seats. There's what looks to be a decent set on Ebay but I don't want to try and install myself and end up with a crappy job. 1350 doesn't seem too unfair a price for a clutch and brakes all around especially if this is including parts. i believe there is a cali forum you might find better help there this is mostly pacific northwest people in here.
