And the reason people get up tight is because they want this style to last & not be pushed around by the people who don't understand the aspects of it. Because if that happens, The Vipstyle will end up dieing in the US.

I, as a Japanese native, just think it's silly to argue here about the definition of VIP. It is a trend and it will eventually die down whether in Japan or here in the States. Every sub culture in Japan is a wave of trends as you know it. My point is to just enjoy our cars, meeting people from CL, and use this site for exchanging great/useful information, not argue about the non sense.

 

I would definitely be in for a club. But VIP is very very far from my budget.

What is going to be done, with this club?

 

OK so I spoke more with some of the guys from XK. Looks as though the crew is disbanding but the guys i'm speaking to have already started forming their new crew. They are also going to be forming branches with his cousin in Japan, an old member from Taiwan, and friends from Boston, Canada, and Cali. The name is going to be "Endless Concepts" and he said he'll send me the logo as soon as it's done. So we shall see.

 

Although I am not a Lexus owner yet. I would be interested in joining, once I have my car. I did a design for the logo, based on the name 'Executive', its still in a very rough form.

 

beej I love that logo.... LOVE IT! I want it in a decal NOW lol. (just TINY little guys for my rear windows, I don't like big stickers)

As for a car club...I'm not going to be in anything "VIP" or "concepts"

Maybe the more modded guys could form a more "VIP" crew and us other guys could be in "executive" I like that idea.

I am glad you and MrSoarer like the logo. I am just waiting to see if the club idea is going to be moving forward. I just don't want to step on anyones toes.

I can change the name, if the name changes. Also I'd need to change the design slightly, because the feather sections may come off after a washing, because the edges may get caught on a wash mitt. As for the MMVIII, I placed that as an 'Established 2008'. I still need to tweak the design, I am not entirely happy with it.

 

alright sounds good. we can make people just be careful with it. hahah. but whatever you do i bet it'll look sick.
