Tuners as in mechanical or ecu tuning? If ECU tuning you have to find tuners for specific after market ECU stuff. Doug at Up Garage knows a fair amount about the JZ series motors even though I guess the specialty is Nissan stuff. I know one of his guys has a 1J SC.

Nah I meant guys that know how to troubleshoot and build 1uz's etc. Turborcharge, supercharge, maybe autronic tuning, and ideally could build a forged 1uzVVTI

We have recently discovered that Honda cats are far more restrictive than the Nissan units, and have shown significant gains when upgraded to high flow, or even Nissan cats.

Just for reference here is a comparison that we did on a stock R32 GTR. One run was done with the stock cat, the next run was done with a generic 3 inch test pipe. The runs were roughly 30 minutes apart.

It was lame. We did the SRT swap into his SXT over the christmas holiday. Hes been getting really good at working on his own car. The day started out with a turbo timer install for him, while I worked on my truck. By mid morning the car wouldnt start so I had to grab the multi-meter and traced it down to a harness that wasnt snapped in all the way
Much video next time though
