Default Vegas (Sema) Trip

This will be my first time in vegas for the SEMA show. Do any of you locals or regulars have any tips on places to eat / party / shows that a first timer should go see. I dont want to break the bank, but want to have some fun as well. Are coupon books or anything like that of any value or just a waste of cash?

Just show up, contact a few people that are in town for the show , and enjoy. There's so much going on that week you shouldn't have any trouble finding something interesting to do.

Also, make it to the meet if possible.

ive never been to SEMA, but i go to vegas every year. dont worry about finding somewhere to eat, or something to do. as long as you are on the strip, you can find something. and theres plenty of stuff off the strip too (as far as food goes). you HAVE to go to in-n-out a few times. just dont go at lunchtime or you'll be waiting for awhile. its great food though. checking out all the casinos is fun too. there gameworks, M&M world and a Coke Store (they closed to tour ) all in one building next to the MGM. theres always something to do in vegas, you wont get bored, especially with SEMA.
