Default Wheel Repair Recommendations?

Didn't know I was low on air and went over some poorly applied construction plating. Now I have 1 bent Dronell rim.

Anyone know a good place in SoCal Los Angeles area for wheel repair? Wheel is 2 piece.

Any help is appreciated. Happy holidays.

Cyber,

DI moved this post to the Pacific regional forum since you want someone local

There are a couple of places that folks have recommended when I bent my rims you ship them off to get fixed. Links to wheel forum posts to follow in a sec.

I had recently started a thread asking the same question and here is the summery of that thread:

do NOT take it to wheels America....

USE:

...Talk to my buddy Sander @ The Wheel Supply. Unfortunately he's in Walnut but he can get your wheel repaired. (909)468-1311 http://www.thewheelsupply.com/index.jsp
(I don't know if they actually do the repair work themselves)

OR

Tech 1
2899 Coronado St
Anaheim, CA 92806-2535
714 6308722
(A CL member actually had his rim repaired by these guys and posted pics in the gallery)

Both of those vendors were recommended to me by CL members (as well as the recommendation NOT to use wheels america) and unfortunately both are located in O.C.

I haven't taken my wheel to be fixed yet...probably AFTER the holiday's...let me know who you went with and how it turned out.

yes yes, that is so true. DO NOT take it to wheels America. Crappy service, crappy job, lazy workers! While I'm on here, don't even go to America's tire Anymore! they hire low wage workers who say they have 6 years experience... but when they jack up your rims, they blame it on you saying you're trying to pull a fast one. Screw them! Go to Mag Masters in Santa Ana or Tech 1. I've seen pics on CL of their work, and it looks great!!!
