Where are people putting change
I am really getting frustrated with a decent place to throw my change. Every car I've ever had had a place to throw my loose change. It might have been an ashtray or a coin holder in the dash ala my ES330. The NX is seriously lacking for a decent place to throw it. I know the storage shelf in the console has a small place to throw some coin, but it is neither big enough or convenient (nothing like trying to contort myself trying to get change out of that.). I like having it convenient to either toss in the extra after going through Dunkin Donuts or having an easy place to grab a few coins when I want to have exact change. I even thought if I could find a small insert for under the mirror pad, that would work, but can't find something that would fit.
Has anyone found a solution? I've looked all over Ebay and Amazon, but nothing seems ideal for what I'm looking for.

The link is to the console tray a number of us put in our NXs, and it's got a place for change.
The link describes it as for the 300h, but it should fit all NXs, and if you dig further on eBay, you may find other options.
Even though I have the tray, I find the console awkward to open when going through the drive-through, so keep change in a small coin purse/container in the space above the CD slot, as suggested by ross7777...

Thanks DD! I wound up ordering a pinch style leather change purse as suggested. I honestly had not thought of this option, but it should do the trick. I remember my grandfather had something similar when I was a kid so now that I’m in my 60’s I guess I qualify for having one. It should work perfectly and go in the slot above the CD player, since I don’t use it for anything anyway. I also had not seen the tray you linked before. I ordered one of these too, as it looks more functional than the stock.

I actually got the ash tray/coin holder for the cup holder as posted earlier. Perfect for loose change and so much easier to use than the coin slots in console tray. As for the tray I Also replaced the stock one with the aftermarket tray. The aftermarket tray works much better and is bigger so all the stufff I like to keep there fits.

I have sold my NX and took a few things out before getting rid of it, including the tray I showed above and the Japan only shift **** that has the baseball stitching. These are listed over in the marketplace if anyone is interested.
