DIY maintenance

Hi all - I have owned a 15 nx200t executive (23000 miles) for 6 months and was looking to make a purchase with rockauto for some parts. Any tips on other brands or experience with any would be awesome. Here is what I have written down to buy (not made order yet):
4 NGK spark plugs (OEM ) $16 each
Wix cabin air filter $10 and maybe a Denso one too $4 - isn't denso toyota/lexus brand? - do you change it every yr?
Wix or Fram or Denso (OEM?) engine air filter ($11-13) -do you change it every 12000miles?

Akebono ceramic brake pads (fronts) $47

Wagner ThermoQuiets ceramic (rear) $32 as they do not have Akebono rears

Any mistakes here or tips on what worked well or not so well would be awesome.

Cheers,
Jon

You should not need to replace the spark plugs now. They should easily last 80,000 miles, and up to 100k. Why are you wanting to change them now? Modern spark plugs like the iridium ones, do not need to be changed that often compared to the ones 30+ years ago which would fit the maintenance schedule of about 25,000 miles like you're doing.

As for air filter, any decent aftermarket brand is fine and Wix is a good filter. You don't need to worry about sticking with oem stuff for this.

As far as the pads you list for front/rear, those are just fine. Remember rear will not provide quite as much stopping power as your front ones so that's probably why Akebono doesn't make any for the rear.

Actually the spark plugs need to be replaced at 40,000 miles according to the factory service schedule.

Ya - i am buying sparks in advance as they are cheaper in usa (I live in canada). brook41 are your rotors done now? how many miles on them? also - will my backyard mechanic need the brake hardware kits or not?

I have not done the brakes yet, I have 60k . Hardware is for front brakes , they are not supplied. Rear brakes are a little more difficult https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...rakes-yet.html. More infohttps://media-cf.assets-cdk.com/team...TG_Outline.pdf
