Hi,

Having the 2018 NX 300h with premium audio, I consider the following options and would like to have your suggestions and comments.

Options 1:
-------------
- SIMPLY replace the stock premium Amplifier with the european stock version Amplifier with Mark Levinson even if it does not have 12 speakers (currently 10). Please note that in North America, the NX with Mark Levinson is not available.
Will that work? Any risk? In worst, I can also consider upgrading the speakers.

Option 2:
-------------
- ONLY add a DSP to the existing system (no new Amp. or anything else). Will that work and make the sound immersive as expected if even it is not loud as with a new appropriate Amp?

I want to minimize modifications, wires, problem of spaces and warranty issue ...

Probably the job will be done by the dealership if that works to avoid warranty problem.

I do not know the 2018 version; as i can say it is that sometimes the harness is not the same ,and in some lexus , the harness is not present , worst you have to add harness and change some wires for adding the ML amp
For me the ML is just a name, the sound is not close as a hifi system tuned by a DSP by a good professionnal.
I am in full ODR-pioneer with DSP , and i have a friend with full FOCAL speaker/Helix- DSP we surpass every owner with the ML speakers sytem ; believe me or not the ML is not so premium as you thought . .. take a look a the speakers and you will see that it is jus an marketing operation..speakers are garbage , junk

So, I will consider the option 2.
What will be your suggestions for the DSP knowing the constraints I provided above?
How many input channels, and output channels the stock Amp has?
The DSP should have which number of inputs/output channels?

I expect adding a DSP to the existing stock Amp and upgrading the speakers with higher sensitivity SHOULD improve the sound.

it depends of the amplifier, i have seen stock nx with 4 full range output (2 front/2rear)+1 subwoofer output , and i have seen full active output ((FRONT=2 tw-mid+2 mid-low)+CENTER+(REAR=2 tw-mid+2 mid-low))+ subwoofer

you must "unbox" the autoradio and go to the rear to verify the amp...
