Default AVS question

I have AVS on my 2017 NX and I’m wondering if it is active in all settings or only when sport or sport + is activated?

It's working in all settings...sport s+ just makes the dampers always a bit firmer; in other words, their adjustable dampening range is limited to a stiffer range of settings rather than the full range when in eco/normal/sport.

On a related note, I wish there was a way to shift the entire setting range a little stiffer for the rear shock absorbers. I wonder if there's a way to mechanically trick the system...

Thanks for the information. After a day of driving I have to say that I'm quite impressed and happy with my purchase.

I'm not sure if my butt dyno is completely broken down, but I wish there was some way for me to feel the difference between AVS and non AVS, cos honestly, if the AVS system in my car broke down one day, I would not be able to tell.

There's definitely a difference in non-AVS F Sport vs one with AVS. The non-AVS F Sport is bouncier and a little stiffer on impacts providng a less refined ride. It explains some of the criticism by journalists of the US-spec F Sport which has no AVS offered. 2018 MY will finally offer it and I highly recommend spending the few $ more for the better ride.
