🔧 Lexus NX Tire Rotation in 30 Seconds ⏱
#2
I was hoping you'd have the drone hover around as you did the rotation.
And everyone, keep watching for the outtakes at the end. I was hoping for a "FLUFFY, get out of my camera view!"

ha-ha! I don't think my neighbors would appreciate one of my drones flying around so close to their windows!

Great question!
For this particular rotation procedure, I placed the floor_jack plate to the side of the normal jack points and jack point guides. The reason is because I wanted to place the jack_stands on the jack points.
Keep in mind that I do not keep all the weight of the vehicle on the floor_jack. All the weight in on the jack_stands and the floor_jack is just there to catch it in an emergency, should a jack_stand give way.
Sometimes, if I just need to get one rear wh-eel off the ground I use this alternative jackpoint (the towhook), again, just long enough to place a jack_stand at the recommended jack point...
If I need to get both rears off the ground, I'll use this jackpoint...
.
Here's a closer view...
Some of you may ask, "Why not use the receiver_hitch (tow hitch)?" I thought of that, but the hitch is too high for the floor_jack. It'll lift the vehicle, but not enough to clear the ttire completely off the ground.

^^^ What a pain in the you-know-what to obfuscate the various words in the above post. Certain words are automatically hyperlinked to eBay and I didn't want that. Is this something new to Club Lexu5, or is it something on my browser that's doing it? If I have to obfuscate each time, well, I'll write a program to do it for me! LOL!

Must be that Internet Explorer! . Isn't doing that in my Chrome on IOS. I have never seen that behavior before but it sounds like some sort of E-Bay plugin.

Front to back and torque ?
Nice post. So recommended rotation is front to back? Is this the same for a AWD? Also what was the torque you set the bolts at?
Great post.......
Thanks
