Default Electronic brake hold creep

When brake hold is enabled, vehicle comes to a stop, I release my foot off the pedal, the car ever so slightly creeps forward.

I have to press the brake pedal firmly again to stop the creeping and even then it doesn't work all the time.

The most annoying part is the noise that is made during the creeping.

is anyone else having this issue?

Only time I noticed this happened to me was when I didn't apply the brake fully and let the car slowly stop and gently off the pedal. When I applied firm brake and stop the car, the HOLD feature works as intended.

I got this same issues couple times when I FIRST tried to use it....more likely user error (My error)...I din't stop the car COMPLETELY so it crept up but if I press the brake firmly and the car stopped completely then it works as design.

When you use brake hold, it doesn't engage immediately (about 1 second delay) or with light brake pressure. I always look at the light on the dash before letting off the brake just to make sure that it has engaged. I've had no trouble with the system.

Make sure the HOLD light comes on before lifting your foot off the brake.

Is it bad to lift off with the brake function on? I'm afraid it will cause unnecessary wear and tear so I always turn off hold before I go.

It's fine. The slightest pressure on the gas pedal will cause the brake hold function to release the brakes.
