2015 NX300h Tire question road noise
My wife's 2015 NX300h has Yokohama Geolandars G91HV 225/60R18 as the oem and what I notice most is the road noise coming from the tires, its loud and I am just wondering how much difference would Michelin Primacy's MXM4 would make because these are what's on my 2016 ES300h and its very quiet I don't hear tire noise at all the Michelins are 115.00 each and the Geolanders are 227.00 at tire rack right now. we only have 20k on the car so don't really need new tires but when we do you think this would make a difference?
thanks

thanks koetsu the geolanders felt soft to the touch but I suspected there were noisy cause I no what I am hearing does not come from Michelin's. I just don't understand why Toyota/lexus use different tire brands. I made them swap out the wheels and tires when I bought my new ES350h to Michelins some ES's have Bridgestone's and some have Michelins. The salesmen said good move

I agree with this. Our NX had either Yokahamas or Bridgestones (not sure now which it had) and our dealer swapped for another NX with the Michelins. Couldn't really tell much difference in noise, but the Michelins drove better on irregular road surfaces. Our ES has the ever-popular Bridgestones and it is still much quieter than the NX with Michelins.

I ended up having the dealer switch to the tires to the Michelin MXM4 as part of my purchase agreement. Hated the crap Yokos. 5k on my Michelins and they are smooth and much quieter than the Yokos.

Tire suggestion
I have Michlin Latitue Tour. They are very quiet an smooth. They are not an all season tire and as a result are quieter than the Michelin Primacy All Season. I live in Canada so I use the Michlin snow x ice in winter which are also very quiet.
All Season Tires in general are noisier than a summer tire.
I hope this helps.

Mine came with the Yokohama Geolanders. I read the reviews on Tirerack and they aren't highly regarded. I'm used to my Continentals on my RX. When the time comes, I'm definitely swapping it for Continentals.
