I received a notice on my nav screen this morning that there were updates to the Lexus App Suite.

I went ahead and downloaded and installed it, but was just curious as to what the updates included.

Does anyone know the change log?

I wonder if I didn't get the notice because my enform subscription has expired and they turned off the cell

I have not gotten the notice and my Enform subscription is still active (renewed at one year).

Update has been out since January, your system will not notify you unless Enform is connected and active on your mobile device. The update is for all 2015 models and is for Navigation units only. If you don't have Nav you won't get the update.

Update Type - Operating System Your Lexus Vehicle has an available multimedia software update (Version V15A8872).

This update is designed to improve the performance of your multimedia system.
Updates include the following:
• Navigation system becomes frozen/has no response or slow response
• Resetting of the navigation system
• Display is blank after a Bluetooth™ Audio device is connected

There may also be other enhancements included in the update.

When i started the NX yesterday I received the update popup notice. I proceeded to do the update. When It was over I quickly scanned everything but didn't see any noticeable changes.

Since I was taking my wife to the airport I decided to try the Nav. ( I know the way but was going to use the nav as an experiment) When i couldn't seem to input the destination via the awful touchpad I went to the destination assist function. When i pressed the logo I got a notice that I wasn't enrolled in Enform!!! I had just renewed my subscription about 2 months ago, so I didn't know what to do. Luckily I got an operator who told me to press the SOS button twice, which I did. Nothing happened and the operator disappeared. Thanks a lot Lexus I hit the assist button again and got a different operator who looked up my acct and he said yes I was paid up and didn't know why I was getting the message. He did put in the airport address and proceeded to the airport. Since I knew the way I knew something was wrong when it had me exit the expressway and go into downtown Tampa!!!Wrong Luckily I was able to get to the airport in time for my wife to make her flight. NO Thanks to Lexus.

This has to be the worst software I have ever used along with the awful touchpad I will never buy another Lexus with this crap again. This is the first Lexus I bought the NAV package. All my others didn't have it and I used a Garmin portable with never a problem.

MY NX already had that update, but it's the same software for my wife's 2015 IS250, so I did the USB update for that. It worked fine, takes a little longer than you would expect, so be patient.

Has anyone had issues with Slacker since this update? Updated yesterday and now when on the home screen with the media widget set to take up the large frame the album cover switches from a generic slacker icon to the real album cover every two seconds...it's a real distraction while driving. Other apps such as Pandora seem to still function normally.

I'm assuming different countries get different updates.

In Australia, we got a new app called "Traffic" and it tells you the best route to take to get to your destination.

What I don't get is why the Enform Suite of apps in US is different to Aust?
All we get is Pandora.. no other apps like the US gets - makes zero sense to me???

What apps does the US have that we don't? I really want Spotify, and if you didn't know, Optus is doing free streaming for Pandora and Spotify and their pre-paid plans so it's worthwhile to get a second SIM if you stream a lot.

Can I use this update for my Australian NX or will that stuff up my system?

I agree, Spotify is my number one app I wish we had.

In Canada, the HD radio Live Traffic is crippled and we can't get it! This is NOT indicated in the User's manual (false advetising). We don't have Enform either (and no apps) but that is clearly indicated in the manual (USA only). I can't understand why they crippled the Live Traffic HD while it does not cost Lexus anything to leave it on and we do have HD radio in major Canadian cities...
