Hi everyone,
I just purchased a NX 350, and found out the tow hook is missing in the trunk, does anyone know the part number of the tow hook? I just want to purchase it to be safe. Tks all.

Does the NX have the threaded inserts in the front behind the bumper covers to screw the tow hook into? Most USA Rav4's do not have that attachment to save money. I thought it was USA Federal law that this was included, but I guess not. Also, the tow hook says front and rear, so where do you screw it into on the rear of the car? Hitch will be installed someday.

 

So strange that people are getting their NX without that tow eyelet. Our 350h had it included (but that was the only "tool" in the tray aside from the screw driver)

The rear tow point is mounted to the unibody underneath. It is on the passenger side. It does need to be removed for hitch install (at least the aftermarket hitches). It looks like this removed:

 

My 450H came with the tow eyelet and a screw driver. I guess for everything else there is a roadside assistance. The rear tow point is also there.
