I know this will seem strange to most people but my wife and I both find in dash display screens distracting and prefer them to be off. I saw in Melissa O'Connell's "part 2" video where she showed you can drill down and turn the screen off but does anyone know if it will stay off until turned on or will it turn back on at the next restart?

 

I don't know of a way, about the only thing I can think of would be to go into the options and just reduce the brightness all the way down. It won't go off, but maybe it'll help reduce the distraction a bit?

 

without trying it I don’t know but either there is a setting to turn it off even when it’s restarted or there isn’t and I can’t imagine there being one, and I’m sure it would come back every time you start the car.

I finally got my digital key to work, by removing it since it was already there using the infotainment center, and I was wondering why the little EV green or blue I don’t remember what color now isn’t always on when the car is on, I don’t mean EV mode, I mean EV as in electrical vehicle I guess why wouldn’t that little EV light always be on? Mine goes on and off, and again I’m not talking about EV mode.

 

Settings - display - toggle display off shuts it off and it stays off at restart. It acts like it's going to come one but I think once it loads the profile it sees that it's supposed to be off then goes dark.
