I was looking at some pictures posted of the new RX and thought it was interesting that the standard headlights come with incandescent turn signals.

 

I bought a set of these bulbs and they work great, VERY bright and no quick flash as they have load resisters built into them. Only took a few minutes to install, I am very happy with the results.

 

This is one thing that really bugs me with Lexus and Toyota. They mix-and-match LED and incandescent lights all over. My wife's RAV had LED headlight and DRL, but incandescent (halogen) fog lights and turn signals. Same in the rear, a hodgepodge of LEDs and incandescent bulbs. And interior, some lights were LED, other incandescent. Frankly, it makes the car look cheap. Even such maligned brands like Dodge do a better job. There is nothing wrong with old-style incandescent bulbs, but please, be consistent.

 

Is there any guide for how to replace the bulbs?

 

Only take a few minutes and no tools needed. You can see the bulb socket with the hood open, turn the socket and pull out the old bulb, install new bulb and you are done.

 

FYI I bought a set from Aliexpress and never used it. Ended up ordering the ultra luxury package. Anyone interested in GTA, ON let me know

 

Thought I would boost this thread. Anyone had good or bad experience with a particular LED turn signal bulb?

 

LED turn signals only come with upgraded headlights ( triple beam or quadra beam depending on country)

However, I would think there should be some after market LED lights that fit in incandescent sockets.
