I didn't, was told Cambridge is not making hybrids, yet, so the assumption is all hybrids comes from Japan for now.

I always thought the fake wood was "low rent"

wrong. The wood is not fake in the RX. And low rent is a perfectly fine term to describe car interiors. Used commonly by car reviewers.

Actually @FastFord didn't disagree with OP, @JasDmw ,, OP's main comment about RX was that V6 wasn't the same as a 4 cylinder when pushed and less noisy, the "wood" of RX was never mentioned.

RX is a good car now; it has come a long ways from the doggy first RX300 that could barely get up top highway speed. There were so many sitting in dealerships, the RX300 was always the loaner car you got.
