With these plug in hybrid getting decent commuting range, anyone concern about the gas that's left in the tank for several months?

 

Page 218 of manual details how to avoid this problem--For plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, fuel may remain in the tank for a long time and undergo changes in quality depending on the how the vehicle is used. Refuel at least 20 L(5.3 gal., 4.4 Imp.gal.) of fuel every 12 months (refuel a total of at least 20 L [5.3 gal., 4.4Imp.gal.] over a 12-month period), as this may affect components of the fuel system or the gasoline engine.

 

That means that we need to use HV mode to deplete the gas once in a while or take a few longer trips

 

I've been using Seafaom gas treatment, at 1 ounce per gallon for over 20 years, never had any issues in motorcycles, small engines, or big vehicle engines. Strongly recommended.
