There is a light in the rear hatch that at light lights up the area by the bumper when the rear hatch is up. The one light that came with the car has one LED. There is an opinion to replace it with 5 light version that substantially increases the light. I have only see this option on eBay from one dealer - https://www.ebay.com/itm/25538156431...564310&vxp=mtr. They seem to have a bunch of them so if this one is sold, follow the link to the dealer and look for available items.
It took me 5 minutes to change the light - one plug has to be disconnected.
The listing says this works for the NX350H and the NX450H - I have a 450 and it worked fine.

There is a official Lexus option on the Canadian configurator. I managed to get it thrown in for free with my 450. Maybe this is the same one you got?

Although according to the dealer it actually projects Lexus script on the ground.

Wait - I just found it - yes it is on the Accessories page on the Lexus site. My dealer never told me about it. It does work and was easy to install.

 

I got that for my 350 and the light output is much better. I believe only the door lights project Lexus in the US.
