I guess it's trying to update - maybe through the wifi - is your phone BT connected at the time ? Is your trial subscription active ?

It means that your vehicle, like my NX450h is not ready for prime time. I love my car…bank vault solid. But there’s so many software issues. And the two service centers I’ve tried are more perplexed than I am. “Glitch Central” is my new name for this experience.

I assume you mean the 3 horizontal bars (sometimes referred to as a hamburger menu) button on the right of the nav screen below the + and -. That should bring up a screen that allows you to toggle traffic on and off on the map.

As others have said this car has lots of software bugs. Definitely contact your dealer and ask about this. It does sound like your software isn't installed properly. And if they can't fix it get them to email Lexus about it. We need to report all these issues.

The left hands knows not what the right hand is doing. Or….it’s yet another sequel to “dumb and dumber.” Last I was told that all infotainment requires the USB wire connection. I have more videos and still shots of failure than I can load to this post. Maybe I should try to remove my profile and give the system only one option at sign in: “Guest?”

Agreed. Dealers are very disconnected but they do have a way to contact somebody upstream in Lexus.

Do you have a 2022 NX? Did a dealer say you needed to use USB to connect to the infotainment? Thats an amazingly bad dealer.

We have configured our Guest Profile with all the same radio presets as the main profile. But its an interesting idea to just remove all profiles and see if it just loads guest without prompting since it won't know any other profiles.
