Was at my local Lexus dealer yesterday. They have a handful of each model on hand. About 15 RXs and about 20 of this years NX models.
Was thinking as I was leaving. What kind of discount would Lexus be giving to get rid of the old models. When the new models are on the showroom floor?
And so my question is how much of a discount would you need. To buy a 2021 NX instead of a 2022?

To me, I'd be pretty hard-pressed to spend anything on an old one - the tech is just way too outdated. Perhaps the "Ignorance is bliss" saying is applicable here. Had I not seen the 2022 NX then maybe there'd be a chance
I was thinking more of the last year of a model. Won’t have any of the issues a first year of a new model.
And then add all of the issues the RAV4 Prime is having. Then on top of that all of the new electronics on the NX.
Plus also knowing the issues I’ve had with Lexus Technology customer support with Enform system. Or lack of support.

This is one of several factors in my decision to move forward with an RX purchase. It is a more “mature” model with a more composed ride and more power. The RX is due for a replacement model next year as well so a 21 or 22 should be among the most debugged of this generation. As an NX owner of over five years, I am very excited about the changes we are seeing, but my wife and I are extremely happy with the RX and glad we didn’t wait - even though we know we don’t have the latest (untested) technology…. It’s always a bit of a gamble, but the electronics are becoming so complex that I prefer to let others debug them before I wade in. Originally Posted by RXWes

My thinking was along the lines of. The limited availability of the 350 Hybrid and 450 Plug In. And no desire to get the Turbo 350. So that leaves a 250 with the Luxury package.
