Hello, When I use CarPlay to play music or Sirius from my iPhone, the sound is fine. When I select "radio" for the audio input I get an electronic sounding distortion in the background. Have you experienced this and what is the resolution? (I posted this in the wrong forum. My car is a 2023 model NX350)

 

Might be bad reception bad radio tuner or bad antenna.

 

If you have a rear Dash Cam fitted it can affect the DAB signal. This is a known issue.

 

Look and see if you're audio is setup with surround sound active, if so turn it off and see if anything changes. Guessing you're in the US, some FM stations like to punch up the sound spectrum and try to increase the balance separation and use HD Radio. Most stations that use this will broadcast on a separate station in regular FM as well. See if you can locate just a regular FM station and see what it sounds like. Just a few items to look into and try out.

 

On most audio system, first thing I do is to shut off the surround sound. On this ML system, it actually sounds better with surround on.
