I have battery monitor with history, it just doesn't go to low state of charge. I can see quick dips in the history graph as expected from momentary load like hatch operation, but it settles back to normal 12.4-12.65V if left alone, as expected. A/C is on all the time. Didn't try max heating, too hot here.
I would like to know what special can be done to bring 12V down (other than stupid things like staying in ACC mode with lights on) so that I would not end up with discharged battery by accident as many. But so far I didn't seen anything. Maybe it's about already sulfated batteries in bad shape unable to take quick charge as designed.
Or maybe it's something with Japanese battery OEM (Yuasa or Panasonic?) quality, I think it has lower CCA which should affect quick charge ability as well. Then it would be specific to J* VIN cars.

Man, if it hasn’t happened to you yet, you’re probably fine with how you drive/use the NX. I wouldn’t worry too much, just have a portable jumper on board uncase a “stupid” day arrives. Would be interesting if there was some sort of data base on which batteries were involved in the sudden discharge and see if there is a pattern. I’ve been problem free after the first three months and learning how to make sure my battery gets a full charge.
