Default NX canyon driving

How are you guys finding the NX for canyon driving? I have a new NX 350h and I had an opportunity to take it out for some spirited runs yesterday. I found the brakes too sensitive and the ABS seems to want to engage a lot. Myb the run flat tires it comes with just plain suck? The feel of the ABS seems off also. Like the computer’s also managing it and it stays on longer, not the usual simple quick pulsing feeling that ends as soon as you get off the gas. even just regular getting off my driveway, brakes are too touchy.

The driver seems too isolated to the driving experience.

I don’t think the NX was made to impress for canon driving. It’s a luxury utility not a sport utility. Even with an F Sport it’s not going to be a true sports utility like BMW engineering. It wasn’t meant to be.

💯% accurate. It was designed for 40 mpg, comfort looks and dependability.

I agree 100%. However, I would add there are no SUV's that are canyon carvers. Their CG is too high to corner well.

I agree well except for maybe the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid

Here is Motor Trends take on sporty SUVs :https://www.motortrend.com/features/...nd-crossovers/

Motor On, Luxury first in an NX

YMMV,

My best canyon driver was an Integra GSR with a cold air intake, now I 'll settle for for a Focus RS.

YMMV,
