Door Mirror Cover
This is fairly easy to do using 2 plastic trim removal tools. Basically the cover is held in place by it being lodged under the lip of the adjoining mirror assembly.
If you take a good look at the covers you will see the "seam" where the border of the cover meets the rest of the mirror assembly. What I find works best is to carefully prise away a small part of the cover at the seam using a trim removal tool and then insert the second trim removal tool into the small gap that you have created so as to hold/maintain that gap and to prevent the cover snapping back into place. Then using the other removal tool carefully work your way around the border of the cover in a clockwise motion, gradually pulling it away from the mirror assembly. Once you have gone around the whole cover it should then gently release itself. Be ready for this so that you don't let the cover drop on to the floor and potentially get scratched.
Hope this helps.

Yeah - no need to remove the whole mirror or undo screws. It just needs a bit of careful pulling and prising away from the mirror assembly. I've done this on my past 2 NXs (Gen 1 and now Gen 2) as I like to have the black (i.e. F Sport) covers on my non F Sport Cloudburst Grey. My only mod
