I negotiated with my Lexus dealer to match the price of these Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires with the sale price Costco had them for earlier this month (including mounting & installation), after seeing so many here switch over to these. I was surprised when I took my '22 450h+ NX into the dealer for it's 25k maintenance, earlier this year, only to learn the OEM RunFlats were due to be replaced and then a quote for almost $1,700 (without alignment)! I researched tread warranties on those BridgeStone RunFlats which say OEM tires are excluded from the manufacture tread warranties, and my dealer claimed new BridgeStone RunFlats do not have a tread warranty.
I figured if a slow leak, I'll use my handy high pressure Ryobi tire inflator and if blow out, AAA Plus towing. I can't tell if I am imagining a smoother ride, because I want badly to believe it was worth the almost $1,400 (with alignment) for new tires after just 25k miles... But figure, the dealership included 2-year tire hazzard warranty & 60k Michelin tread warranty will hopefully mean these might last a little longer than the BridgeStone and thereby save a little money while offering a smoother ride.
Though a side note about these tires, which I learned after they were installed and I was checking them out, they can only be rotated front to back because of the tread pattern requiring they be mounted a certain way when rotated so the tread goes the correct direction.

Wow that is an excellent price. Was that recent? Lexus originally was pricing the CrossClimate at $1631. When I replaced my Jeep tires back in 2016 they were $800, twice as much now just seems crazy!

Remember Costco tires price include tire lifetime rotation and balance. For 8 times $25 = $200. Even if my Lexus dealer matches the Tire price, I still save an additional $200 not using the dealer.

Yea I was thinking about that too - just going with Costco, and I may next time, but I liked not having to wait, the dealership gave me a loaner, and for some reason it took them two days to do the swap (there was a delay getting the tires), but I had the loaner so I was good, which was a '25 NX, got to see some of the differences between my model and the latest =). And of course the ritual email that they desperately need my NX - lol.

There should be absolutely no reason for an alignment unless you have evidence of uneven tire wear or needing to adjust steering wheel one way or the other to make it drive straight, not the usual slight left or right position simply due to road slope. Pure money grab.

The Cross Climate 2 is an excellent tire. I installed these on my wife's Acura RDX prior to giving the car to our son and DIL. When the crappy RFT's wear out on her current NX450h+, I plan to replace them with the CC2's. I purchase all of my tires from Costco. Normally, I place the order online and they ship the tires to my local Costco Tire Center of choice. When I get the notice that they have arrived, I make an installation appointment and cruise on in for the swap out. This cuts out a lot of waiting time and speeds up the entire process.

Look likes my NX tires is already at around 5/32" at around 14K miles. Maybe I can get it to last up to 20K miles but our roads aren't the best in our area.

Some say the Yoko tires are softer and less noisy. CC2 are noisy and too firm?

I was seriously looking at replacing my rfs this fall with CC2s. However, my research shows the wet stopping distance is substantial when compared with Michelin summers. I hear one of those now @gen 4 is coming out at gen 5 shortly. Since i already have winters on rims, I'm leaning towards just replacing the rfs with decent, long lasting summers. Won't bother with a spare, have a compressor in the trunk for small punctures or slow leaks. CAA or roadside assistance is good enough for a full blowout.
