I turned off my NX, only to immediately hear about 12 super fast beeps, followed by an ear-splitting continuous high pitched sound. I turned the car back on, thinking maybe the console would tell me if something was wrong. The painful noise continued for a couple of seconds and stopped. Seemed to be coming from behind the computer screen-maybe, hard to tell for sure.

has anyone else encountered this?

 

Sounds like you are about to hit something, or you are too close to an object At least that was it sounds like, the closer you are to hitting something the faster the beeps and it is continuous beep when you are like 1 foot from hitting something.

 

Good guess, but the loud parking chimes are different. Also, this happened while in park just after turning the NX off.

 

Aaahhh happened when you turned it off I skipped that part haha That is indeed weird, is that only happened once, or every time you turn off the car, or once in a while here and there it is happening?

 

First time, hopefully the last. Just was curious if anyone knew what caused it in case it happens again. Weirdly ear-splitting.
