Wondering if anyone with the cream and black interior on the luxury 2024 NX 350 had any issues with the upholstering around the curved areas of the back seat? My model was assembled in Canada. The issue appears it isn’t sewn correctly. Lexus advised not to fix it because it could make it worse. Not the answer I wanted to hear. This isn’t the quality I expect from Lexus. Anyone else experience this?

 

Pictues would help. Are you getting fraying threads on the seams? I've seen a few others on a different NX site complaining about threads failing on their seats, but that seems to be Japan built NXs so far.

I initially had a problem with my 2022 NX350h F Sport rear seat (bottom part). The car made in Japan. The problem was - the Left Hand seating skin section ("dotted" part of the seat) looked/felt very dry and hard and was very different from the other side. The problem was solved by replacement of the faulty part at the first scheduled service (15,000km).

 

So your dealership replaced the faulty section of the upholstery and it fixed the problem. My dealership keeps telling me it could look worst if they fixed it. This is frustrating!

 

Our dealership outsource the upholstery part and they can make the leather seats better if not the best shape. I have used the contact a few times directly.
