Was wondering if anyone has already done the Apple update to 17.3.1 and encountered any Apple CarPlay issues? Based on the past update’s problems for some, I’ve been waiting to hear how this one does.

 

No issues here.

There's a new iOS 17.4 just out also. Maybe try that version also.

 

I updated to 17.4 and it works fine for me. But it's been fine most of the time for me on older versions as well.

I always update to the latest version of iOS, and all versions have worked great for me.

 

I had no problems with the iOS 17.4 or the older release with carplay also.

Maybe try rebooting the iphone.

 

I did experience couple of laggy CarPlay situations when the Lexus software was updated to 2050. But that was like once or twice. But later when I updated to 17.3.1 everything was smooth as butter like before. Until now even after 17.4 everything is excellent. Will keep you posted if I experience anything but so far so good. I have to I experienced issues like literally twice or so after updating to 2050.
