Here's mine Pros and Cons on the NX350h Lux. I just picked it up about 2 weeks ago from dealership. I tested the Premium and Lux models and features out in my dealership. If you are any audiophile, get the ML audio package.

Quiet inside at lower speeds but at higher speeds, you will hear engine noise (my old 2019 RX gas only was more quiet and more smooth).

Only got 1 physical key and digital key for now until I get the 2nd key maybe around 3 months.

Pros:
- Very comfortable seats
- Excellent gas mileage at around 41 mpg combined
- Perfect size for a family of 4 with our family seating
- New tech and amenities are very good compared to previous NX models or Rav4

Cons:
- No spare tire
- RFTs
- wish the trunk was a tab bigger
- Not a con for me but the door latch system turned off my brother to the NX.

Sorry to hear your NX is giving you so many issues. Very unusual for a Lexus product. Hope your issues are rectified and you have smooth sailing from that point on…

Speaking of the NX 350h.
I noticed this video of a 2023 NX 350h, I’m not sure what country this is from but look at the steering wheel buttons, they are totally different from the US.
This looks much more user friendly and gives you quick access to specific button by letting you know what it does.
Much different from the capacitive buttons on the US steering wheel.

Why does Lexus offer different steering wheels for different countries for the same vehicle, this is a left handled steering wheel just like US but it’s different.

I think this is correct--other owners can weigh in. But in the U.S. it depends on what trim level you buy and whether you have the HUD. Base 350h gets the traditional buttons you like (I believe).

Yup, its just about the HUD. The HUD comes with the special buttons, non-HUD gets the regular labeled buttons. Using the special buttons the labels are displayed in the HUD.

Lightbulb already a lot of good threads discussing this

Asked and answered, here are some of the better threads:

Good cruising car, mpg falls off 5 mpg with fast or aggressive driving, RFTs better than I thought they would be. poor implementation digital key, multiple profiles, multiple Lexus/Toyota cars. ML awesome, ambient lighting very, very dim. panorama roof nice, rear kick sensor only marginally works with activity mount, heads up display is not the best, minimal. Panoramic view monitor is awesome for parking get it for sure, triple beam get it adds LED turn signals.

14 inch screen is nice but it is wastes because only one function displays at once. I like drive connect nice to find and send locations to NX * can also do with my Prius) . It will cost you $15 per month plus tax after first 3 years. Waze is just as good. wireless phone charger mostly works. Carplay implementation is good. YOU CAN USE REGUKAR GAS ( lots of discussion but this is the real answer)

Lots of technology which is good, but a lot is dependent on apps and the Internet.

People of friends who can't figure out door handles --you need smarter friends.

negatives: no spare tire ( Modern Spare alternative but takes up 2/3 cargo, back seat only really accommodates 2 people

I like the car but it is no sports car and feels big to me. It is a very nice long trip luxuty cruiser 350h that has very decent mileage and decent acceleration,

I actually like my 2023 Prius LE better. Feels light and sporty and looks great and with the new 2.0L engine it accelerates faster than 3050h NX. With Toyotas new TNGA platform it is very quiet and rides very smooth. I subscribed to Drive Connect and it works off same app as Lexus. Get car ad 55 mpg.

For my performance and shifting addiction I kept my Focus RS. It takes 5W50 synthetic which is really expensive $$$

Bottom Line 350h NX is a great reliable luxury cruiser I am very happy with it and would buy it again. As soon as the RFTs wear down I will replace with regular tires, either Michelin CrossClimate 2 or Pirelli Scorpion AP plus 3 20 inch. Someone said Michelin was less mpg, but actually should be greater mpg because regular tires are less weight than RFTs.

Good Luck ...and let us know when you get your NX

YMMV,

Very similar to what midcow3 said

I got mine four weeks ago. (premium package)
So far, I'm thrilled, but I'm still in the breakdown stage.

Pro:
  • Quiet car when on the EV,
  • Technology is Amazing, but sometimes too much
  • I got a hitch from uHaul
  • Great seats
  • The key card is great

Cons:
  • MPG is short of advertising ( depends on your driving style)
  • No spare tire
  • 14" display has a lot of wasted real estate
  • 3rd Parthy hitch negates the kick function for the trunk
  • The original Sound system is so & so ( made by Pioneer)
  • 0-16W engine oil ( might be an issue in hot states)

I got their premium package and regret not jumping on the Luxury.
Miss the 360 Surround camera and better sound ( I drive a lot and like to listen to music and audiobooks)

I'm struggling with my BSM not working correctly as well Solpete, see my thread here :
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...left-side.html

I had to create a spreadsheet for dealer and collect numerous videos from my phone too in order to get anywhere with my dealer. I'm of the opinion that there is an internal fault within the driver's side BSM that's the cause. My spreadsheet laid out all the locations on roadways where and exactly when (down to the second as pulled from iPhone video data) the alarm triggered and corresponding video showed no car present. After some accumulation data showed specific rough road surfaces would repeatedly trigger the BSM. I've had the side mirror replaced a total of 3 times, last one for vibrating mirror assembly TSB. The main problem dealing with the dealer on this issue is that it does work as it's supposed to so no fault is triggered that sensor is bad, but it also alarms when, sometimes, there's nothing there. This issue was first caught by me when car only had less than 2k miles on it. Dealer at last attempt to diagnose pulled off bumper, confirmed alignment was correct, recalibrated it too. He finally signed off on a faulty BSM and ordered a replacement, of which I've been waiting for since January '24 as the part's are on backorder. I will update my thread once I have had it replaced and confirmed problem has been solved as I know which roadways were triggering it and can go back to try and duplicate. Basically 50-80 mph on old rough pavement or concrete when the car has road vibration as my 'runflats' are 'just a hummin' causes the issue.

Otherwise all of these other posts here are bang on for positives and negatives. My advise is take a LONG test drive to make sure you're committed on your choice though. I came from a 2009 Murano and found the rear storage area a little more snug.

Negatives: Tire noise, lack of spare tire, 12 volt battery health, very easily scratched soft upper dash material ( do not attempt to scrub or you'll be sorry), piano black plastic that scratches easily, cheap black plastic exterior trim that is prone to scratches too, gas door flap not opening. We have a dog and there is no way to keep my hybrid running with a/c on and the doors locked to keep him cool in summer if I step away to run into a store quickly.
Positives: Gas mileage, comfortable seating position, safety tech, dealer and owner ability for 'customization features'. I had my key fob enabled to lower all 4 windows and open roof by holding down unlock button, good to let the hot air out from car when it's been sitting in sunlight in summer. Hybrid provides lower brake maintenance and increases longevity of pads.

Have the same hitch, and I just tested it again and it works, not sure why it didn't work before, maybe I need a pointer shoes :-)

Can't think of many cons really, other than the safety nanny while backing up is a little sensitive. Well, RFT and no spare. This is the wife's car, but I always enjoy driving it. The sound deadening is amazing, as it's super quiet. Not one single rattle or wind noise at all.
Great looking car, with plenty of power for me and the transmission in these are super refined and smooth; Virtually bullet proof as well I might ad.
The wife and I love to drive it, and it just begs for you to keep on driving. LOL

Default Best Decision entering Luxurious reliability

I have to start by saying NX 350h is pure fuel economy luxury small suv you can’t go wrong with. With that I’ll say based on my research and test driving, I don’t regret buying my 2024 base NX 350h for most of many reasons except for the ML audio system. I think having only that as an add on would be perfect but the base 10 speaker audio system is not too bad. Other than that I don’t really want to start the conversation between Japan built vs North American built NXs but mine was Japan built and specifically wanted that. I would say the build quality is at superior level. No rattling or squeaking anywhere.

Coming to the fuel economy, I do try to hypermile to my best ability by using pulse and glide. I’m consistently getting 45 mpg and you can check out my post on the same here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...Hypermiling+NX

If you’re planning on keeping your Lexus long term, want to save on gas, at the same time need sensible luxury options, I’d say NX 350h is a perfect choice. Congrats in advance if you end up buying NX 350h 👍

Good Small SUV

the only thing I have noticed small fuel tank, and the Mark Levinson system is not worth the extra expense

regarding loss of CUBIC ft.... I was also concerned w that vs a Rav4.
Here is how I see it....
Cubic ft calculation includes height from the cargo floor to the roof.
In reality, i NEVER would load stuff for a trip any higher than the viewable view from my rear view mirror to the rear cargo window.
UNLESS you have one of the higher optioned panoramic camera rear view mirrors which has cameras out the back, and if you also do not stack stuff like me, you are really looking at cargo capacity based on square footage rather than unrealistic Cargo cubic feet numbers specified by auto manufacturers....just my opinion. you may see it differently....
I am quite sure you do have more space in that Highlander, it just depends on what your needs are and how often you need 100% on space needs on a trip. (A big drawback of the NX350 is not having a spare.... I will buy one of those spares mentioned in this forum and when that happens, I may change my opinion on space needs on a trip)
I would like to hear other's opinion.
