Default Same problem

I got the same issue, any idea if the case is sorted after amplifier replacement? As in the dealer they mentioned that this is normal.

I am a new member in this forum as well as in the Lexus family. I recently purchased 2024 NX350 F-Sport Package with the 14-inch Navigation + ML Sound System. The car is great however, the sound system is causing problems. The volume range for this car goes from 0-65 (max). If I play music below 45, the speakers are great and no issue. But as soon as I turn up the volume till 48 or above, the speakers shut itself off after couple of minutes. At first, I thought it is Apple CarPlay issue, but no, there is no sound on the radio, no sound via Bluetooth, absolutely nothing. In order for me to restore the speakers, I need to shut off the car, come out, lock the car, wait for 10-15 minutes and then I am able to restore the speakers' sound. However, if I play the same music at a higher volume, the sound shuts off again a bit quicker than the first time.

I do not know what the issue is. The car barely has 1000 KM on it. It is making me crazy.
hello! I have the NXh350 Luxury from Japan and it does the same thing. It took like 15-30 minutes to recover. I thought it was a safety feature to prevent the speakers from blowing. I will take mine to the dealer to see what they say. Thank you! 🙏👍

It’s too bad this original poster hasn’t returned and never updated us to see if the amp replacement solved the problem.

I can wait a little while. I have 36K and my warranty runs out at 40K. So I have some time. 👍

Man you guys are crazy! If I have the ML at 40, my Apple Watch noise alert goes off, it’s set at 90dB lol.

Never own a Lexus without a warranty. Especially on a new model car. Any repairs you need wont be cheap

You might also get a quote from higher end audio shop.

Good luck to great sound again

YMMV,

P.S. - The new Toyota RAV4 has Safety Sense 4.0 will the new NX also have ?
