Default Software update today, I noticed some changes

I’m curious to hear what other people have seen as in changes, one thing I am wondering about is can we change the navigation map to being a satellite view?

I have that with Google maps on the screen when I want it but on that one I can’t seem to do a dark version a night version.

I use android auto which uses Google maps. Mine switches to night mode automatically.

Me too, this appears to be an AA setting, but Google Maps itself also has "theme settings" for light or dark, but I suspect the AA settings might take priority.

Libertas, if using CarPlay you might want to check the CarPlay settings on your phone to see if they have anything like this, then check the Maps settings if no ACP specific settings.

Color scheme is on “night“ in the app but the screen is not dark. Even without the car involved the Google maps screen on my phone is always not dark always light or whatever you wanna call it even though I have it set to dark.

Is “ AA” Apple App? There is even an option for night in the navigation section of the settings section of the app and that’s set to dark also.

Yes I am using CarPlay and there is nothing in the CarPlay section of the phone settings that has anything to do with this, only which apps you can have displayed.

@ Libertas: AA is Android Auto.
