Default Chrome window trim delete?

Has anyone done either a swap or a vinyl wrap or a paint on the chrome window trim?

I have a caviar 350h that I recently purchased (so.cal) and just tinted the windows. The chrome really sticks out and was wondering if anyone has a reputable shop or option on this. I've seen ebay pre-cut vinyls that are 50 dollars but not sure about quality or fitment/installation

Iv'e seen Plastic Dip used on Mini Cooper headlight trim. . It's durable. Not a gloss finish... on the flat side. Can be peeled off.
I have done this on removable pieces. It dries fairly uniform. Not me in the video

I just used hyper dip to black out the letters on the back. Turned out pretty good for my first try

I got my pre-cut chrome delete vinyl from Bluebatoverlays, check his IG and see if he makes it for your car.

I'm experimenting with using spray cans to darken some Chrome parts I'm putting on an NX450h+.

1. DuplicolorShadow Spray Paint: Black/Clear, Aerosol Kit
https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Got the idea for this option from
.

2. Rust-Oleum 253256 Specialty Lens Tint Spray Paint
Amazon Amazon

I used the Rust-Oleum to do my taillights on my truck, came out nice, once I put clear coat. So going to see how this comes out on Chrome.

I'll post pictures of the results in the future.

I wondered about the same thing. The F-Sport comes with the Black Chrome window trim. So I called the Lexus Parts Dept at Lexus of Wesley Chapel here in Florida.

He told me the small rear window, the small triangle is EXPENSIVE because the glass and trim are all one part number. They are $220 each. The rest of the Black Chrome Trim is available as well and in have total it would run $800 to delete Bright Chrome and swap to Black Chrome.

I have an appointment with the Xpel Dealer who put my PPF on the car. They have a Gloss Black and a Matte Black they can put on. Unfortunately I haven't been given a price yet. But I want to Black the Roof Rails as well. When I get a price I'll post it.
