Run Flat Tires
I simply asked for a 2nd fob and they quickly gave another to me. Lexus has been good about that. Toyota dealers less so. Didn't know it was a thing till I started seeing it complained here after I bought mine.
Modern Spare has been discussed at length in other threads. Carry on trips, leave at home for usual local commuting.

We looked at all the hi end small SUVs and still bought the NX for the Toyota longevity, and the 350h mpg is a great bonus. The middle GLA was enticing, but any repair bill would have soured us pretty quick. We will keep the NX for 10-15 years, 300k+ miles, like all our cars. Good luck with your decision.
Run Flats are fine... feel confident with them. They're on several of our cars. I swear by them. Enjoy your h. Good luck with it.
Modern Spare LLC says spare kit will not fit in the 2024 350 Luxury compartment under the cargo floor. What options are there other than leave the kit loose in the cargo area…and that is dangerous as anything not secured becomes a projectile. I’d like to figure it out. I like the NX. It would be my first Lexus.

Still I decided to save the $12K+ and get the NX350h. If spare tire is a big concern, you may want to consider the RX350h.
RX vs NX... It's the dimensions we're interest in. This will be my wife's ride... smaller footprint is better for her. How long of a wait for the 350h I don't see any on the lot..... I want the NX within a few weeks.

There's a few fully loaded Luxury's if I want to travel an hour. We're going to see if anything is incoming locally and we'll put a deposit on it. Currently in Pa. outside of Phila. As for color I'm fairly flexible on this one. It's not being garaged. I like the Cloudburst as it's staying outdoors. If we ordered it would be Red. The NX looks real good in Red.

I guess the real question is when was the last time you had a flat? How often do you have flats?
If you are prone to frequent flats then I would be concerned about having a spare. We have one vehicle to split between us. I went with the Modern Spare and it sits in the garage. With the Run Flats we figure around town we can make it home or to a garage to repair. Whenever we go long distance we throw it in the rear cargo area. It's bagged and heavy. I really don't believe it will be rolling around or flying very far. Should an accident happen, nothing else in your vehicle is tied down that weigh a lot less that become flying missiles so I personally don't worry about tieing it down. I have been driving since I was 16 and I'm almost 69 and I've NEVER had a flat but I've always had a spare tire and have even paid money to have a good one. So it goes back to my 2 questions, When was the last time you had a flat and how often do you have them? You decide what's best for you and your family.
