Default Anyone successfully use an iPod Touch?

This is the only iPod Lexus supports through the USB port. If you use one, what do you see? A menu for navigating? Any voice commands work? Are you happy with the function?

I had an old iPod touch buried in the console of my 2010 RX that I had forgotten about for years. I used it in the early days because the Apple interface was so much better than the USB interface on that car and I had acquired the iPod for free. But at some point I switched to Spotify and that old device lay unloved for years until I emptied out the RX when I traded for the NX. Long story short, I did try it but it would not connect to the NX system, only started charging. I did briefly reminisce listening to a few old songs though on the device itself.

Thanks for the reply. That's the experience I'm having so far. I can connect some iPod models with Bluetooth, but Lexus claims USB connection works. The jury is still out.
