Anyone has the issue with this area making cracking noise when resting your leg on it?
Asked the dealer to take a look at it and the noise went away for a day but then it came back.

Looking for possible permanent fix.

You can try lining the inside of the molding with foam tape.

 

I complained about the same thing (my knee pushes that as well). They put some felt in there for me. Not perfect, but better.
